I really like The Happy Newspaper because the stories don’t feel like they’ve just been copied from every other place online!! It has its own kind of vibe, and the articles actually feel fresh, which makes it way more fun to sit down and read...
Most news just feels so samey, or just stressful!!! This is such a nice little break from all that. It’s a simple idea, but it’s done really, really well!!

"Pretty design, with a few small reservations"
I really liked the overall print design, it’s easy to look through and has such a nice, cheerful feel. The little illustrations are probably my favorite part, and you can tell a lot of care went into them. I did have mixed feelings in a couple of spots where I wished it felt a tiny bit more polished, but overall it’s a lovely piece and I enjoyed it.

I ordered from thehappynewspaper.com it turned up in nicer condition than I was expecting. I’d been a little worried the paper might get bent or marked in the post, but the packaging was sturdy without feeling excessive. Everything arrived clean and flat, and it really seemed like some care had gone into packing it. It’s a small thing, but it made a good impression. I’d definitely order again

"Good quality paper and clear printing"
I was happy with this overall. The paper feels better than I expected, a bit thicker and nicer to hold, and the colours printed clearly. There were a few tiny marks on some pages, but nothing that really affects using or reading it. For the price and quality, it feels like a sensible buy. Not absolutely perfect, but definitely good enough that I’m pleased with it.

I came across The Happy Newspaper when I was just worn out from all the doom scrolling (you know how it gets). The stories are kind, hopeful, and really easy to dip into without feeling overwhelmed.
I was a bit worried it might be cheesy, but it really isn’t. It’s just genuine good news and little reminders that decent things are still happening out there (which I definitely needed).
It always leaves me in a better mood after reading. Such a lovely site, and an easy 5 stars from me.

"Nice idea, especially with so much bad news around"
It’s refreshing to see something focused on good news because most of what’s out there lately feels negative and exhausting. I like what they stand for, and it’s nice to have a little break from all the usual doom and gloom.

I do like the idea overall, and I’ve found some of the articles interesting. My sister and I were talking about it the other day, and we both felt like the content can get a little repetitive after a while. It would be nicer if there were more topics mixed in to keep things fresh. Still, it’s decent for a quick read.

I really enjoy that this only comes out a few times a year. It’s not so frequent that it feels like clutter, but not so rare that you forget about it either. Whenever a new issue shows up, it’s a nice little break from the usual news cycle. If you like having something calm and easy to read now and then, I’d say this is worth keeping around.
